Before you’ll laugh at another “funny shop” of Keanu sitting on a bench, it’s good to know the man himself, right?
-His father abandoned him
-His mother was too consumed by her job to take care of him
-His sister is dying from Leukemia
-His best friend died of drug overdose
-He was great at hockey. A serious injury caused him to abandom his dream.
-His daughter died at birth, at Christmas Eve
-His fiancee died 2 years later in a car accident
-He’s always there for his fans
-He donates most of his money to charity and cancer research in bid to save his dying sister
This is the real reason we should be cheering this guy up. The fact that he didn’t just curl up and die like most of us would do after such trauma makes me respect him so much.
Go Keanu, you’re an inspiration to all of us. I hope you’ll smile one day again.
He’s a truly amazing, talented person. I’ve been saying this for years, but most people seem to ignore it and have a good laugh at his expense.
